Horizontalization processes, Local Management Board, and territory

Abstract

The transformations experienced in recent years, encourage us to reflect on the importance of public policies as an instrument of social transformation. These initiatives, when directed from a comprehensive approach, offer the possibility of rethinking opportunities and strengths, as the main tools to achieve a better quality of life.However, visualizing the retrace of the roads as something simple to do, would not be separated from the old biased practices of reality, and as such, relapse into the same faults caused by neoliberal policies. These strategies have left deep marks in the territories, scars that have marked several generations and about which we try to intervene.In this way, the scenarios that are presented to us, demand to interpellate reality permanently in order to denaturalize the practices that objectify subjects and she subjects.That is why, the tables of local management, framed as public policy, take great importance to become excellent instances for the rediscovery of the potentials of actors and actresses. These spaces are where conjunctures are visible, which have as their goal, to set in motion the engines of social change. These inflection points allow us to rediscover ourselves as protagonists in the construction of more inclusive participatory spaces, through the implementation of various processes and the application of numerous tools.The objective of this article is to invite visualization of the processes of horizontalization, as a multidimensional instance that, from an integral approach, embraces the complex in order to highlight the importance of listening, speaking and acting in a framework of equality and equity.
