Abstract

Our Latin American region has been undergoing changes in the political leadership of its countries under the predominance of political positions linked to the concentrated power of international capitalism. Some consider this process as the end of the populist cycle and / or as an advance of the rights. In this work we want to focus the analysis on the Argentine situation -in the world context and especially in the regionand on the type of capitalism to which the ruling group is linked. For the first time in the history of Argentine democracy, a right-wing coalition wins the presidential elections (Natanson, 2018: 24; Manzanelli et al., 2017: 179; CIFRA / FLACSO, 2016:3) and assumes power. Something practically unthinkable for many, even for the very leaders of the group that today governs.
