INTERVENCIÓN TURÍSTICA EN LA DINÁMICA DE UN TERRITORIO

Resumen

En este breve artículo se invita a reflexionar en torno a la temática de la dinámica de un territorio para ser intervenido turísticamente en pos de un desarrollo local sustentable.A nivel profesional, se encontró pertinente analizar la compleja función de un gestor en turismo y como debería observar un territorio y desarrollar una mirada holística sobre el mismo, y así poder gestionar un destino adecuadamente.Por lo tanto, comenzar a entender qué es un territorio para luego comprender qué “mirar” en él, a fin de detectar: la escala territorial, los límites, los procesos sociales (migración por amenidades) y sus consecuencias (ciudades difusas), el patrimonio natural o cultural, identificar la identidad del territorio y el sistema turístico existente, proponer estrategias competitivas y complementarias, con el fin de articular la dinámica del territorio con el turismo y así proponer un modelo de gestión turística territorial de calidad.Con este objetivo se realizó una revisión teórica y una construcción critica de reflexión sobre la dinámica de los territorios y la intervención turística del mismo. Con especial atención a las provincias emergentes en materia turística, tales como La Rioja, Argentina, que se basa en sus atractivos naturales, y donde la innovación es una herramienta clave para posicionar este destino en nuestro país.  TOURISTIC INTERVENTION IN THE DYNAMICS OF A TERRITORY ABSTRACTIn this brief article we invite you to reflect on the theme of the dynamics of a touristically intervened territory, in pursuit of a sustainable local development.At a professional level, it is pertinent to analyze the complex function of a tourism manager and how this key role should observe a territory and  develop a holistic view of it, in order to manage a destination appropriately.Therefore, beginning to understand what a territory is, in order to  understand what to “look” in it, will be relevant to detect: territorial scale, limits, social processes (migration by amenities) and its consequences (diffuse cities), natural or cultural heritage, territory’s identity and the existing tourism system.This input will assist the generation of competitive and complementary strategies, to articulate the dynamics of the territory with tourism in order to propose a quality territorial tourism management model. Thereupon, a theoretical revision and a critical construction of reflection on the dynamics of the territories and the touristic intervention of the said dynamics were carried out to propose a quality territorial tourism management model, with special attention to emerging provinces in tourism, such as La Rioja, Argentina, which is based on its natural attractions, and where innovation is a key tool to position this destination in our country.Key words: tourism; territory; territorial dynamics,; tourism management; LaRioja
