Multidisciplinary journal aimed at the study of the local realities
Ágora UNLaR is an on line semmi-annual multidisciplinary journal. It is also peer reviewed, of free access and it is published by the Humanities Academic Department from the National University of La Rioja, Argentina. It is devoted to the study of the local social realities from multiple disciplinary perspectives.
The editorial policy of the journal aims at reflecting the diversity of the local social structure, so its pages contain original contributions in Spanish, Portuguese and English from different fields of knowledge, among them Arts, Music, History, Archaeology, Psychopedagogy, Literature, English, Organizations and Human Resources, Theology, Bibliotecology, Archives, Museology, Teaching practice and Psychology.
The aim of Ágora UNLaR is to collaborate in the construction of an editorial space of excellent quality for the promotion and integration at a regional and international level of the scientific local productions in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.
For that purpose, the journal offers several sections which give the opportunity to publish works (that of teachers’, researchers’, etc.) in different fields of knowledge: research papers, thesis and theoretical reviews, unpublished literary works and literary criticism, visual arts, music and performing arts works, reviews, interviews and translations.
The target audience is heterogeneous academic and shares the fact of experiencing the local aspects.

La política editorial de la revista pretende reflejar la diversidad de los entramados sociales locales dando cabida en sus páginas a las contribuciones científicas originales, en español, portugués e inglés, procedentes de diversos campos de conocimientos entre los que se cuentan Arte, Música, Historia, Arqueología, Psicopedagogía, Letras, Inglés, Organizaciones y RRHH, Teología, Bibliotecología, Archivística, Museología, Práctica docente, Psicología
El objetivo de Ágora UNLaR, es colaborar en la construcción de un espacio editorial de excelencia para la difusión e integración regional e internacional de las producciones científicas locales en el campo de las Humanidades y las Ciencias Sociales.
Para ello, la revista ofrece varias secciones brindando la oportunidad de publicar trabajos (docentes, investigadores, etc.) en diversos campos del saber: Artículos de Investigación, de Tesis y de Revisión Teórica; Publicaciones literarias inéditas y Crítica Literaria; Publicaciones de Artes Visuales, Musicales y Escénicas; Reseñas, Entrevistas y Traducciones
Va dirigida a un público académico heterogéneo, pero que comparte la vivencia empírica de ser "habitantes de lo local".
