Abstract

In this article we will analyze the imperialist methods of Great Britain to obtain
commercial hegemony in the countries that become targets of their ambition. We
will limit ourselves to analyzing the almost simultaneous cases of the "opium wars" (and their consequences as unequal treaties) and the first French blockade and the Anglo-French blockade.
