The new edition of the Revista Abordajes -Revista de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas- of the Universidad Nacional de La Rioja, volume 10, number 16, invites us to an interesting and necessary journey through various works, studies and presentations of social scientists from different disciplinary backgrounds concerned and engaged in generating content to help us understand the reality of our region, in a national and Latin American situation. What in a post-pandemic context, attacks against any critical-situated analysis that pretends to be carried out and requires scientific practices that shed light to those who - as lovers of reading - appeal to them to improve our understanding and our daily interventions; in the hope of building among all, a more equitable and just world.
