El filósofo argentino Luis Juan Guerrero, quien estudió matemáticas y
ciencias naturales en las Universidades de Pennsylvania y Michigan entre
1915 y 1918, se formó en Alemania y hoy es considerado un ‘miembro
desgajado’ de la escuela de Frankfurt. Aquí presentamos su teoría expuesta
en el Congreso Nacional de Filosofía en Cuyo, en 1949, simiente de su
aporte a la estética de la recepción.
CRITICAL THEORY AND ART, A READING FROM THE OPERATIVE AESTHETICS OF THE RECEPTION
ABSTRACT
The Argentinean philosopher Luis Juan Guerrero, who studied mathematics
and natural sciences at the Universities of Pennsylvania and Michigan
between 1915 and 1918, was trained in Germany and today is considered
a ‘broken member’ of the Frankfurt School. Here we present his theory
exposed in the National Congress of Philosophy in Cuyo in 1949, seed of his
contribution to the aesthetics of reception.
