Jorge Luis Borges: his importance for the construction of Michel Foucault's philosophical thought during the archaeological period

The literary work of Jorge Luis Borges is constitutive in the formation of the philosophical reflection of Michel Foucault. In this article, the focus of study has been on stories by Jorge Luis Borges in relation to the philosophical work of Michel Foucault from the so-called Archaeological stage of the philosopher. Special emphasis is placed on two issues: on the one hand, the one/another relationship; discursive/non-discourse as component vectors of what is conceived as real and therefore true. On the other hand, considerations regarding the methodological contributions for literary and philosophical research.Downloads
