Abstract

This article explores some of the themes that underpin the literary construction of La Celestina. The mainhypothesis indicates that the existing relationships between the characters of La Celestina configure anarrative of losers supported by the negativization of all elements of the work, fundamentally, the negativeperspective on women, as well as the mediation / management undertaken by Celestina through the use ofthe word in concrete situations of enunciation. The importance of the pimp lies in her ability to transgress thespatial limits and to bring the dissimilar cultural worlds closer through the customs of knowledge.
