Abstract

The approach to History, as a discipline dedicated to the study of human beings over time, is a source ofmultiple theoretical and philosophical discussions. Over the years, considerations regarding the 'constructionsof the past' have evolved. Great thinkers of all centuries taken, directly or indirectly, from the historical disciplinefor the development and elaboration of their theoretical-philosophical models. This aspect had implications inhistoriography. Those ways, interdisciplinarity transformed the historian's task. Therefore, this work seeks toapproach the different historical perspectives of two great thinkers of the 20th century, Michel Foucault andWalter Benjamin, whose reflections and critical studies have been modifying the ways of interpreting the past
