LOS ELEMENTOS DE LA CIENCIA FICCIÓN EN UNA LECTURA DEL COMIC BOOK DE SUPERHÉROES COMO MITOLOGÍA MODERNA.

La narrativa gráfica del subgénero superheroico presenta una versión contemporánea de la épica heroica en
la cual en la mayoría de los casos los elementos de la magia y la fantasía de las modalidades míticas
tradicionales son reemplazados por terminología pseudocientífica y elementos extraídos de la ciencia ficción.
Utilizando un marco teórico arraigado en los estudios mitocríticos junguianos, la antropología y la mitología
comparada, el presente trabajo intentará determinar qué lugar ocupan los elementos de la ciencia ficción en
la constitución mítica del superhéroe, partiendo de la hipótesis de que este tipo de narrativa constituye una
representación simbólica que pertenece al imaginario colectivo.
ELEMENTS OF SCIENCE FICTION IN THE READING OF SUPERHERO COMIC BOOKS AS MODERN MITHOLOGY
Abstract
The graphic narrative of the superhero genre of fiction shows a contemporary view of the heroic epic narrative
in which the magic and fantasy of traditional stories are replaced by pseudoscientific terminology and elements
borrowed from science fiction. Using a conceptual theorical framework rooted in the junguian myth studies,
antropology and comparative mythology, this paper will try to determine wich is the role of the elements of
science fiction in the mythic constitution of the superhero, assumming that this kind of narrative is a symbolic
representation that takes place in the public imagination.
