School/University. Arguments to make learning meaningful from a Human Rights perspective.

Abstract

It is our intention to put into debate the instances of articulation between secondary school and university. In that sense, we are interested in introducing some notes about it. Firstly, the role of the Argentinian State as the institution that guarantees education at every level, and the need to generate policies that allow a better connection, linkage and articulation between different education spaces. Secondly, we want to expose some conceptual aspects which mark the implication of why it should be worked with linking and dialogue networks in the processes of meaningful learnings.
We are interested in showing some ideas about education as a social practice which requires resignifying the means of getting meaningful learning. Thinking about the construction of articulatory links between middle school and university is part of current challenges. We also recover the arguments from Ausubel (1976) regarding meaningful learning and citizen construction. We reflect about this process in the formation of Social Workers. On it we recover reflections which include us as teachers and which allow us to look at ourselves critically in the complex process of university education.
